al-Jazeera Update

The fallout from my appearance on al-Jazeera discussing the anti-democratic, corrupt, dysfunctional Yemeni regime that targets its own citizens: the Yemeni governmental newspapers are trashing my blog by name, and the Yemeni people are writing me by the hundreds with thanks. (Details here.)

Whoa. Now that is fame. You are seen by a government as a threat. What a wonderful world we live in when tyrants fear the voices of ordinary citizens.

This is why the web should stay free. How about notifying your congressional Representative and your US Senators and let them know that this is why the UN plan, and any attempt to extend CF laws to blogs, are bad ideas?
