Well, this is certainly promising. If true, a majority of those opposed to embryonic stem cell research should be satisfied. (Some won't be, but most will.)
However - anything I've read that isn't pure "Embryonic Stem Cells are the Philosopher's Stone!", says that they've had far more luck with adult stem cells, and that embryonic stem cells have proven to be TOO mutable - unstable, prone to degradation in each generation. (His seeming unwillingness to even consider those two facts as something to, well, factor in, is why I skip past anything Glen Reynolds writes on the subject)
