The Bomb-Blowing Heroes of Iraq

Bomb BotThere are such heroes you know. Michael Fumento, who's spent considerable time among them, has a great writeup of their work.

Fumento's my kind of iconoclast: skeptical of global warming hysteria, sees Cindy Sheehan as the fascist-coddling fraud she is, skeptical of the magical promises of stem cell research, skeptical of fearmongering claims about vaccines with thimerosal, recognizes just how many falsehoods we've been fed about HIV and AIDS (even if he doesn't agree with HIV's more rigorous critics), and more.

A man after my own heart: an independent thinker.

Dean, the first link doesn't go to Fumento's write-up.

I must be slipping in my old age. That's happening a lot lately. Grr. Anyway, fixed, thanks!

Now, now, now, Dean... according to my (government sponsored) "diversity" and "sensitivity" training of last week, you shouldn't be making comments about old age like that, because you might offend old people. It shows a lack of appreciation for the diversity of human experience. Don't you know that using an expression like "senior moment" is just as offensive as calling a black person by the n-word? < /sarcasm off>

(They said that, I kid you not!)

Too bad that Mikey is a total dick to most of the bloggers he runs across. He seems to regularly google his name and then rant to anyone that says anything crosswise to him. I wonder if he'll come here and bitch at me for this comment.

Yes, I can confirm that. I came athwart him once. He's definitely opinionated.

I got behind on the comments so I didn't see this, but I've never had a run-in with Fumento, and his writing certainly seems solid.
