I will tell you what is disturbing to me. It isn't so much this story being blown out of porportion. That is the way the media is now. But it is the fact that the MSM is not reporting the whole story. Which, imo makes it an even more dramatic story.

As I pointed out on my blog, the first 4 stories I picked up on Google on Sheehan did not mention 1) her first meeting with Bush 2)The counter protests taking place 3)the commentary such as you have here from parents who have lost children and are upset with her 4) Her impending divorce because of her anti-war activities (so says she) 5)The radical factions of the leftwing that are using her and exploiting this protest for their own gain.

A most telling example in Salon: Joan Walsh says Sheehan's antics "give people reason to be optimistic about the administration's unraveling in Iraq." That's right--these people want us to fail.

They don't want there to be a new Constitution, they don't want there to be democratic elections. They want the fascists who bomb civilians and slaughter Iraqis on a daily basis to be victorious.

Some of these "anti-war" people are flat-out evil. They really are.

Neo-Neo-Con's psychological analysis of Sheehan was the most charitable interpretation I'm willing to allow. I'm more inclined to believe that Sheehan was a Communist from the beginning and this whole thing is just act to subvert our War effort.
