Note how the device has nails all around it--those are there to ensure that the maximum number of people possible are killed or wounded. So that if the concussion or falling debris don't get you, then a nail or glass will. More details here.

The nature of these bombs or these bombers is not news to anyone who has noticed the legitimization of terrorism by, yup, none other than Western Europe for the last twenty years. Terrorism was declared a legitimate cry of pain by the weak -- as long as the victims were Jews and the perpetrator were the followers of Nobel Prize laureate Yassir Arafat. Now another ox is being gored and we're shocked, shocked?

these bombs are still used in Israel. In fact, when some British muslims set off a bomb in Tel Aviv, it didn't kill too many people because they didn't add nails (although any small pieces of metal would work just as well).
BTW, I wonder if the nails were dipped in rat poison the way Hamas does them?
Its a shame that its has taken an attack like this to finally warrant a crackdown. Alas, myself and many others predicted that the only way there would be the political will in the UK to finally crack down on these bastards would be if they attacked in country.
Not, of course, that so-called moderate Muslim leaders realise what is going down yet. Some are still posturing. If these guys think things are getting tough right now just wait and see what happens if they manage another attack.
