Ten Kentuckians Vs. 50 Terrorists: Not a Fair Fight

Read the story, and be proud.

John's got some more military-jargon-y things to say.

Our soldiers -- heroes. The battles in this War will go down in legend centuries hence. Like Charles Martel fighting the Battle of Tours in 732 A.D..

Wasn't there a story about a unit of Scotsmen doing a bayonet charge last year? That's gotta be frightening.

True Kentuckians are armed with more than rifles. One of my most memorable visits to that great state 10 years ago, along with visits to the Chevrolet Corvette manufacturing plant at Bowling Green and to Mammoth Cave, included a two-day stop at the great Knob Creek Machine Gun Range about an hour's drive south of Louisville.

Hot damn! I just can't begin to describe to any of you such an experience, unless you love guns as I do.

Good job in that Iraqi border fight, Blue Grass boys and girls. All America is proud of you, including us folks up north in the Badger State.

Raven 42. The 617th MP Company, Kentucky National Guard. Assigned to the 503rd MP Bn and the 18th MP Bde. These are unit designations that will be remembered in the annals of the United States Army, for a long time to come. America is truly blessed by our current generation of soldiers, the girls as well as the boys.

You're damned right I'm proud.
