Among the more amusing facts I turned up on the site was learning that the Anti-Masonic Party once nominated a Mason for President.

Actually, Masons are the #1 charity providing medical care to needy kids. Ever heard of Shriners' Hospitals? Masons. Scottish Rite Speech and Hearing Clinics? Masons?

Another tidbit, besides being the world's oldest fraternity, the Masons are also the world's oldest trade union, beginning as a group of stonemasons.

I grew up in Masonic lodges, as I was in both of the girls' youth groups. I think the history is rather fascinating.
