Che Challenge
Dean
I'm thinking about holding a contest. Maybe other blogs can participate:
From January 1, 2005 to March 31, 2005, how many references in the mainstream press can anyone find to Che Guevera in which there is no mention of:
1) The homosexuals he shot or threw in prison for the crime of being homosexual.
2) The Christians he shot for being Christian.
3) Show trials he ran.
4) Executions he ordered without even a show trial.
5) Concentration camps he built.
6) People he had bound to a chair, gagged, and then personally shot in the face.
7) Peasants he terrorized.
8) His "pedagogy of the wall."
9) The fact that he was a Stalinist.
1 point for every reference that lacks all of the above. 1 extra point for every reference to the man as "controversial" without ever actually saying what was controversial about him (besides the fact that he was a "revolutionary" associated with Fidel Castro).
We should be able to rack up quite a list, but I'd like to offer some kind of prize to whoever can find the most references. I'll offer up twenty bucks to start, but if anyone wants to throw in to the pot for the eventual winner we can add to it.
People can start compiling their finds to the comments to this thread.

All these links were found at Yahoo News, which you can consider MSM press:

I think that is enough for today.
"un demagogo arrogante y rencoroso que disfrutaba asesinar con sus propias manos
an arrogant and rancorous demagogue that enjoyed killing with his own hands",
none of the MSM come close, Dean.
