Home Depot is a privately owned enterprise. It's stockholders and management have sole right to determine to whom they will provide donations, for what purpose, and for what amount.

If Home Depot supports an organization such as "La Raza", one can assume it is for no other reason than desiring to capture the large Mexican-American share of the consumer market in greater Los Angeles.

So what's wrong with that? They do this for the same reason that MdDonald's franchises in Ontario sprout more Canadian flags than you probably would find on a Canadian military base.

If Home Depot's non-Chicano customers feel disaffected by the community action policies of that company, the have the right to shop elsewhere. Which is one of the nice privileges of living and working in a consumer-oriented society. They also have the right to bring their disaffection and its reasons to the attention of other consumers. But obviously they have no right to mount a protest against Home Depot conducted from the property of that company.
