I'm still pissed at them for the spread of their bilingual laws down into the USA. The Wife (may Her name be praised!) just bought some Cascade dishwashing detergent, and everything was in French and English.

I got a real kick out of Bush's reference to the protestors yesterday when he thanked the people for coming out and welcoming him with a wave -- especially the people who waved with "all five fingers."

I think the visit has been a good one. If an American President were able to go somewhere without anyone objecting I think it would mean that he wasn't doing a very good job.

Wonder how this protest compares to the one that greeted Reagan a couple of decades ago. Mr. Reagan was doing a good job too.

I think many of those signs appalled many Canadians including some of those who were either neutral or against the war.
