Fiction Publishing Advice Needed
Dean
Our friend David has two short fiction pieces, and he's looking for advice on finding a publisher. If you've got any ideas let him know.
For that matter if you know any agents who'd like to look at an MS on a very non-genre-oriented science fiction novel, maybe you could give me some advice. :-)

Seriously. That's the simplest way to sum up the best advice I've read.
Submit.
If you get a rejection slip, file it for posterity, and:
Submit.
Don't give up.
There are also a bunch of other sites on the web that have lists of publishers. A couple of hours with our friend Google should turn up enough to keep you busy mailing for quite some time.
Debi: You know them, by chance, or...?
He writes for the Detroit Free Pres, has five successful books, is nearby, you can probably see him in person and one of his current books is soon to be a movie. He has a lot of experience which you might tap into. It's only a suggestion. Seems to me that writing anonymously to a mail address doesn't address the need forthrightly.
