Well, I don't know any agents, but if either of y'all are considering internet publishing, here's a long list of possibly useful links:

Disclaimer: I Am Not A Writer, but I play one on the Internet.

do
{
this.GetNextPublisher();
this.SubmitManuscript();
}
while (rejection_slip == TRUE)

Seriously. That's the simplest way to sum up the best advice I've read.

Submit.

If you get a rejection slip, file it for posterity, and:

Submit.

Don't give up.

As for a list of publishers, there's Writer's Market, which offers pretty good advice on the particulars.

There are also a bunch of other sites on the web that have lists of publishers. A couple of hours with our friend Google should turn up enough to keep you busy mailing for quite some time.

Catch 22:
Call: Mitch Albom, his agent or his publisher.

Debi: You know them, by chance, or...?

Catch 22:
Mitch Albom? Why him?

He writes for the Detroit Free Pres, has five successful books, is nearby, you can probably see him in person and one of his current books is soon to be a movie. He has a lot of experience which you might tap into. It's only a suggestion. Seems to me that writing anonymously to a mail address doesn't address the need forthrightly.
