In one of them, Steve Gardner relates much of the same story he told me in our interview last week, and George Elliott also relays some things similar to what he told me in my earlier interview with him.

You know, you don't have to care what these guys say or about what happened in Viet Nam, but it sure does bother me that they're just automatically branded as liars and Republican operatives by so many people. But that's just politics I guess.
