Trying To Save A Little Girl

We can't save them all. But we can save this one. Chief Wiggles would like your help again.

By the way, the toy drive is still going strong. Details here.

Dear God, Dean, this tumor would never have been allowed to progress like that here in the US. She needs to get out of there. Hemangiomas (even big nasty ones) do usually go away but jeez, some of this needs to be excised or embolized right away...

A good friend had a grandchild with an enormous liver hemangioma (so big the child had high-output heart failure) sucessfully embolized at the U of Utah. He's perfectly normal now, but at the time was one of the few (perhaps only) to be successfully treated. Chief Wiggles is from Utah, no? He's got the best right at his (home) doorstep...

Yeah he's in Utah. But we have to get the girl out of the country and into the right hands. Any help would be appreciated.

Right now, we are contacting Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City for treatment and Senator Hatch's office for visas.

We are still at the beginnings of this though and ALL help is appreciated.

We are told we have about 2 months to get her out and treated.

Commenting on Dean's World is a privilege, not a right. Dean is your host, you are his guest, and you should behave in that fashion. Dean is not your babysitter, nor is he your punching bag. Please remember this. In general, you are free to disagree with anyone on any subject you wish, but abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.

Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
