Dean's World

Defending the liberal tradition in history, science, and philosophy.

To Michael Moore: Watch Out (Joe Gandelman)

You don't want THIS GUY mad at you.

PS: Could it be that THIS GUY is auditioning for the Veep spot under Bush? The National Enquirer and even mainstream pundits have suggested he's a prime candidate should Vice President Dick Cheney suddenly drop off the ticket due to heart (or poll) problems. His name keeps coming up. And the news story linked above shows why.

I'd definitely be happy with that. I wouldn't mind Colin Powell, either, but I don't think he wants the job.

Rudy Guliani is a hero. I would gladly vote for him. Too bad he's not at the top of the ticket. Or Condi.

To play partisan for a little bit, would a Democratic/Liberal mayor be called a hero if he/she was mayor of New York during 9/11?? Hmmm... Wonder for how long?

And Michael Moore and Rudy Guliani "spitting fire" at each other is SO EXCITING. I wish either one of them would get "mad" at me. BOOO! They go running.

Presidential elections turns folks harder than what they are. Big deal Guliani. So so tough. Can't wait to the RNC so I can here the flip side, carbon copy nonsense. How do you expect me to take the Demos and Repubs seriously since they play games of "back &forth" all the time? Sickening. I'll vote for someone, I guess.

Vote for me, S-Train. I'll straighten this country right out!

Oh, and I do believe that a Democrat mayor would be hailed a hero if he acted the way Rudy did. Damn straight he would. You don't have to agree politically to respect someone. I have great respect for former Detroit mayor Dennis Archer. He is my poliyical polar opposite but I respected him and the job he did. I was sad that he didn't run again.

I meant political polar opposite...

Damn typos.

Dennis Archer was better than Kwame Kilpatrick. Kwame reminds me of certain characters that I ran into on the streets.

Do you mind if I ask what was so remarkable about Archer? I've never heard of him.

Commenting on Dean's World is a privilege, not a right. Dean is your host, you are his guest, and you should behave in that fashion. Dean is not your babysitter, nor is he your punching bag. Please remember this. In general, you are free to disagree with anyone on any subject you wish, but abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.

Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
