Dean's World

Defending the liberal tradition in history, science, and philosophy.

Minor Technical Glitch

For some reason, whenever Joe posts an article today, comments are turned off. He's not doing it on purpose and neither are we. We're looking into it as we speak. Don't make too much of it, it's just a glitch in The Matrix and Agent Smith is working on it as we speak....

Heh, I just emailed him about that. I mean just now as you were posting this... freaky, I guess?

Maybe the InterWeb can't keep up with Joe's prolific tendencies.

Bonus points to Paul Burgess for making the webmaster pee his pants from laughing so hard.

Not sure what kind of weed you've been smoking today. My comment on one of Joe's July 9 posts got in like Flynn.

Commenting on Dean's World is a privilege, not a right. Dean is your host, you are his guest, and you should behave in that fashion. Dean is not your babysitter, nor is he your punching bag. Please remember this. In general, you are free to disagree with anyone on any subject you wish, but abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.

Still: behave like an adult, or go find somewhere else to play. Thanks.
