Compassion Fatigue

You know, there are so many good causes in the world, you can't give money to them all. Yet I've noticed that people who are part of the blogosphere--either webloggers themselves, or their readers--tend to be generous, and to really care about helping others. This is why every time I've asked for you guys' help, whether it was for Operation Give (which is still going strong, by the way) or to Spirit of America, I've been stunned by just how generous you can be.
Well, another group of webloggers is raising funds, this time for a different cause: breast cancer. Our good friend and fellow weblogger Justene Adamec (of Calblog fame) is looking for sponsors for her walkathon for breast cancer in September. Do you think you could pledge a few bucks to her for her efforts? She's a super lady and it's a great cause.

Of course we all lose our tempers now and then. Dean freely admits to being imperfect in this regard, which is why regulars to this establishment will generally be cut more slack than people who we don't know very well.
