On The Hillary For Vice President Broo-ha-ha (Joe Gandelman)

Is the prospect serious or silly? And who was the source?

I think it would be silly for Kerry to pick Hillary, as it would turn the election into a referendum on the Clintons. I don't see that as a winning proposition. As for the prospects, though, I have no idea.

I loathe Matt Drudge. That said, I've thought for a while that Hillary is the absolute perfect pick for Kerry, with absolutely no down side whatsoever for either him or for Hillary or for Democrats.

It will help assure him of a victory. And I still think he's going to win, by the way, and that 2002 will turn out to have been the high water mark for Republicans for the next few decades.

It's all over but the shouting, my Republican pals. Get used to it.

Dammit Dean, I almost feel the same way. What I don't want to happen is Kerry be elected president (*shudder*) and have the right slide into the same hysteria that the left is in now.

Bleh, not a happy thought at all!

I'll hang in there for Bush. Hillary!?!

Some on the right will, some won't. The ones more concerned about winning the war than revenge for an election that didn't go their way will be more sensible.
