Iraq A Soveriegn Nation

The transfer of power to the new provisional government in Iraq has been accomplished two days early. Neat move, and sends a message to both the terrrorists and the never-say-a-good-word critics that we mean what we say and say what we mean.

Very exciting.

I suspect the early turnover was a move to avoid making the ceremony a target. Pretty slick nonetheless.

Congradulations are in order.I'm going to celebrate with
balloons. And an email of good luck to the Iraqi minister of foreign affairs at: contact@iraqmofa.net

A brilliant move I suppose. Now any violence is targeted at a sovereign Iraqi nation and invited protectors, not an occupying force. Kind of hard to justify attacking now.
