"Strychnine" (Joe Gandelman)

And so, another Guest Blogger stint comes to an end and I say "Strychnine" -- which is "Good-bye," in any language.

Do visit us at our regular blog The Moderate Voice during the week for the same kind of crap...I mean posts...that I've done here for the past two days.

A funny guy I knew from high school used to rhapsodize about strychnine: "You die when you're awake."

ha! ha! ha! ha! Quite a character he was! He said many interesting things, had an extremely interesting _style_. I wonder what he's doing now. Haven't seen him around lately.

I always thought it was 'Arsnic'.

Story I was told is that on a home done Jeopardy event (at a party or something) the answer was 'Three ways of saying good-bye that start with A'. The contestant said, 'Adios, Areviour(sp)', and at a loss at the last second said 'Arsnic'.

Truly a way to say good bye.
