Dear Dean,
Regarding the discussions on medical marihuana on March 01 though 03, there is a book by Lynn Zimmer and John P. Morgan:
Marijuana Myths Marijuana Facts: a review of the scientific evidence. The Lindesmith Center. ISBN 0-9641568-4-9
Published in 1997, it covers most of the questions posted on the weblog at that time, well intended or disrupted (as in "Frodo" Fersboo).
Also there's The Netherlands Ministry of Foreing Affairs site on the subject:
http://www.minbuza.nl/english
In it there's eloquent data focused to include and preserve rather than punish, much in tone with your own sentiment I belive. Frodos beware, no double standards or hypocresy here.
Updated 2003.
Dean, thank you for having such great place open to all. I enjoy the dialogs very much and I feel I have a bit of a refuge in it.
I find fear (boggarts) may be our worst enemy, and bringing those fears in the open is a great start to feel less afraid in life.
