You know, that would make sense, especially since my first employer was the South Metropolitan Association in suburban Chicagoland, which was of course abbreviated SMA.
Re the connection with Dizzy Dean - you might find this interesting. My father knew Dizzy Dean well enough to have dinner with him once or twice a year - I have met Dean Esmay - so Dean is only 3 degrees from Dizzy Dean.
All right, this is getting a bit weird. I just found out that the husband of one of my former patients posted something I wrote on his blog, which was then found and forwarded to me by Dean. Turns out they're blog buddies.
Forget the VRWC folks, it's the Esmay web we must fear!
Oh geez watch out for Kid Ego!
Hmmmm ... actually, I've always sort of thought of you as the Kevin Bacon of the blogosphere, now that I think about it ...
So that explains it!
How does that connect with Dizzy Dean?
Quick! Michael Moore's blog to Dean's World in 6 hyperlinks or less!
Ooh, can it be done?
I've noticed that Dean Esmay and I have never been seen together in the same room. That's because he and I are secretly the same person. SMA = Esmay

Coincidence?!? I think not!

If I have the degrees right, that is!
I'm sticking with Bill from INDC on this one...geez!
And I dig bacon...
And I'm one degree from Dizzy Gillespie, and consider Dizzy Girl a friend also, so once I meet Dean, he could be the Axis of Dizzy.
The mind reels.
Remember that bubble gum song from the 60s, Dizzy? I think it was Tommy James and the Shondels.
Which means we all become one with the caged hamster!
