All Kidding Aside

I have been remiss in not making note of the death of one of America's true national treaures. Ray Charles has passed away.

I particularly liked Juliette's tribute. I'll add one thought though:

People like Ray Charles aren't supposed to die. That's just plain wrong.

One of the all time greats, he was never background music... he played, he sang, you listened with joy in your heart.

He was the whole package, to hear him was great, but to see him and hear him was one of the best days of your life.

Thank you Thomas Edison.
