What's sad is Dawn of the Dead beat out the Passion for the number one slot at the box offices. What does this say? America is drawn to the death of one man, but the death of 75,0000...possibly more impressive to the viewing public. Not to mention our lazy society isn't to into having to reading subtitles.

Whoa. That was deep.

I actualy got the impression that Dawn of the Dead and The passion were largely about the same thing ... with slightly different execution.*

* I stole that from a comment thread somewhere.
