I don't want to foment violence, but if someone meets a politician who is in favor of the underwear ban they ought to give him a sock.

Okay, what's with this phrase? The last line of the story: "Donald Halperin of the New York Metropolitan Retailers Association said the issue was mainly about women's undergarments because women care more about such issues more than men."

Guys, does that actually mean you'd be perfectly fine with it if you bought a pair of shorts and found out that somebody else had worn them, sweated and dribbled and who knows what else in them?

Please, please tell me no ...
