The link to Luciano Pavarotti is busted.

Not sure what that means, really, on Mother's day.

Isn't #87 what we all want out of life?

"12) She loves good vodka....

"49) She has a fear of flying. She'll get on a plane, but she doesn't like it, especially on long flights."

Number 49, meet number 12. Specifically, meet number 12 at the bar by the gate for a double immediately before boarding is called.

And Happy Mother's Day, Rosemary.

Sean,

What is "I'll have another"?

That is what I say to the bartender before boarding any plane.

Usually followed closely with, "when will the f**king Xanax kick in"?

In 1968 I was dating my first husband Steven, and he used to take me to Wayne State to visit the computer. I only ever got as far as the keypunch room, but I was impressed anyway. ;>)

If there was a Rosemary Esmay Fan club, I'd be a charter member. She's tougher than I am -- I gave up on trying to raise a boy in the Detroit area, but it looks like she's got it handled!

The world needs many more lovely ladies like her.

Happy Mother's Day to Rosemary!
Take care of her, she has an anemia problem and ice chewing is a by product of anemia. I have cracked several teeth by ice chewing. Not good. Help her!

Dziękuję
I have a couple of trunks in my garage. I’ve been told that they were the one’s my grandmother used to store her stuff when she came over from Poland in 1892. I have a bunch of other stuff from my wife, a Pole born in Wyandotte, now gone from this life.
I wish I could have given them the kind of gift you gave Rosemary.

Awesome mother's day gift. Wish I had the idea before now but I think I will do one for my wife as well if you don't mind me stealing your idea. I'm new to the blogging thing but am very excited about it all. Your wife sounds like a great woman. I'm glad there are other people in the world who refuse to be confined philosophically into a little box. #63 and #64 would seem contradictory to most people but not to those of us who understand.

73) She thinks football's a pretty dumb sport, though she does watch the Superbowl most years.

Thats because she doesn't understand it!! ;-)

Happy Mothers Day Rose! (even if I'm a day late)

101. Her Mother in law really loves and adores her.

I too am late sweetheart but my youngest son drove three hours just to be with me. I can't tell you how much that means to a Mom. He will soon be 30, and is the youngest. You too will know that even tho' you look back and think of the things you feel so bad about or feel you did wrong are the very things that make you son a stronger and better man for having gone through it with you.

I love you.
