We will officially begin our fundraising drive for Spirit of America -- to raise funds for all their programs -- on Wednesday morning at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, to run through Sunday!
To participate, you must run a weblog, and try to post at least one message per day to your readers to encourage them to contribute to Spirit of America. Contest ends next Thurdsday. Let's see how much we can raise to support our troops' efforts to help people in Afghanistan, Iraq, and everywhere else they need our help!
You can either join by yourself, or join the very sexy, desirable, totally cool Liberty Alliance by simply dropping me a note or a comment.
Or I suppose that if you're lame you could join the silly nerds of Victory Coaliton, or the simply awful Fighting Fusileers for Freedom. Winning team gets bragging rights and the right to shout "in your face!" for the next month.
Seriously, it's all in fun, and to raise money for a worthy cause.
If you want to join one of the three coalitions, just drop a note to Kevin Aylward, John Donovan, or myself. If you want to start your own coalition, or raise money solo, just click here to sign up.
Competition starts 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday morning and runs until a week from Thursday!
When do we get a specific link for the Liberty Alliance Donations?
Well, HELL YEAH! I'll have to be a joiner on this one.
Count me in. I will be on the road this week, and for the rest of the month, but I'll find a way to get the posting done.
I have to admit I already gave, to the TV effort. Those folks need to hear the truth.
Got there through Jerry Pournelle's site. If I had a site of my own, I'd link to yours.
Carry on.
Bill--I'll email you all our page info!
Inkgrrl and Mr. E. --- dynamite!
Seein as how you've named this alliance after my 11 week old daughter (Liberty), I guess I'll have to make a donation! ;)
Are you going to put up a complete listing of all the blogs in each alliance?
Yep! You'll see on Wednesday, but yep! In fact each alliance will have its own special page and everything!
Just in case you missed my other note: I'm in (and will need specific instructions complete with single-syllabic words describing exactly what to do - though I'm getting the picture). :)
