April 18, 1940 (Rosemary, the QOAE)
She may be 64...
...but she can still kick ass!
Happy Birthday Mommy!
Last year, I wrote a tribute to mom. This year we sing!
Sto lat! Sto lat! Niech żyje, żyje nam.Sto lat! Sto lat! Niech żyje, żyje nam.
Jeszcze raz! Jeszcze raz! Niech żyje, żyje nam.
Niech żyje nam.
Just read back your mom tribute and noticed she had a farm in Hillsdale. I also live in Hillsdale. Small world. I have had the pleasure of reading your blog for a few months now and enjoy it thoroughly.
Happy Birthday Mom!!!! I love you. You are the best!!! You really have taught us all what it means to be a family. You are strong, beautiful, generous, smart and loving. Thank you.
Has it already been a year?! Man, time is flying!
Happy birthday, Rosemary's Mom!
Happy Birthday, Rosemary's Mom.
By the way, does that make her the Queen Mother of All That Is Evil?
No. My mom is a liberal.
Be good to your mum while she's still here to enjoy your company. I can only fondly remember mine. :(
She isn't that much older than I am, born in 1947. You kids...
A very Happy Birthday indeed to your Mom.
What a very beautiful Mom indeed!
Heads Up everybody...Rosemary's Bday is coming too, I remember from Dean's endearing post last year. Wrote something to you under your post, Ouch written by you late last night or early morn.
Amazing.
Man, your mom does kick ass! We are throwing a surprise birthday party for my soon to be 70 year old Mom and she kicks ass as well!
Hugs to your mom. She is a strong woman. Like her blogging offspring :^)
Keep up the good work!
Rosemary,
What a pleasant surprise to learn that your mother is Polish! I guess I should have learned that in your own posts, but never thought to look.
Sto lat, indeed!
Well Rosemary,
If your mama was born in old Polska on a date like April 1940, she is truly damned lucky to have survived assorted nazis, communists, the crummy poverty and disorganization that afflicts most of eastern Europe with or without totalitarianism, and the tribulations of moving your life from your homeland to a distant country across the ocean.
I wish her and you long life and good health.
