Watching the Commission (Rosemary, the QOAE)
I'm watching Janet Reno testify. Did she really have to testify in public? I'm not a fan of Ms. Reno but she doesn't look good. The Parkinson's has obviously worsened. She could have done this in private and they could've had her testimony released after.
Yeah, but that wouldn't have been as good as theater, and apparently that's all the Commission is about.
Maybe SHE needs to go on "The Swan."
OTS, my wife loves "The Swan" but with her accent, it comes out "ze swine." It's too funny.
Gave me an idea, take "beautiful" supermodels, and make them "normal."
Her Parkinson's looks much better to me, her shoulders aren't shaking at all, and her neck is steady.
I'm finding myself annoyed at how nice ben Veniste and Kerrey are being to her. Not that I want them to be nasty at all, far from it, and Reno's giving very good and reasonable answers that more people should hear (like pointing out the many threats that the FBI and Justice Department had to worry about, and still do). But it kind of kills their earlier claims that they just have "confrontational styles."
Oh well. Anyway honey I think yuou need to look more carefully, General Reno has aged a bit but her neck and shoulders are steady. I'm wondering if she doesn't have some new meds.
You know that brings up an interesting point: back in the 40s and 50s it used to be considered very poor taste to talk about a politician's personal health issues, to even ask about it. Reno's the only politician in recent decades I can think of that's been treated to personal deference on such a matter. Not that I'm complaining, I actually find it refreshing since it's none of anyone's business. It's just out of the ordinary.
(Of course here I am talking about it. Ah well.)
Go to Drudge Report ASAP!!

Pretty courageous, huh Rosemary? She even did it alone.
It was courageous. Without a doubt.
