Jew

I just noticed that if you want to learn about Jews, or the definition of "Jew", the Wikipedia has the best entry I've seen online.

Then again, on the subject of Jews and their faith, the Judaism 101 FAQ is indispensible.

Have I ever mentioned I have a good friend who's a Jew? Actually several. In fact I always wanted to be a Jew, but it would make Easter so awkward.

By the way, if you want to know why I mention all this, go read this. Oh, and if you have a web site, pass it on.

I'm serious, by the way. Webloggers especially take note, please, but anyone with a web site will do.

Hey, Jew - Thanks for the help. A Jew-nited front might get the Jew-haters' website bounced from first place. Do Jew know anything else we can do?

Tell anyone you know with a web site to put up a link to either the Wikipedia entry or the Judaism 101 FAQ with the word "jew" in the link text. That's all it takes.

What Jew, Christian, Deist, Theist or Atheist can do is include the link when you toss the word around; otherwise it has no impact on Google.

Every hyper link boosts the appropriate pages in the Google count, and every site that does it boosts it more.

Google combats these attempts by identifying what it considers to be "artificial" link structures and adjusting or eliminating their influence in the rankings. Google has also recently taken action against reciprocal link pages, link "farms" and guest books, downplaying their importance in its link analysis algorithms. And there's no doubt that Google will take action against weblogs, if those weblogs are seen as manipulating results in a way that doesn't correspond with user expectations.

From Search Engine Watch. So don't put too many links on your page.

Yes, Google's made a big show of that, but don't over-react to it. It's not so sophisticated it ignores blog links, it just ignores multiple links on the same page and other obvious cheats. Believe me, efforts like this still work just fine, so long as you're not silly about it.

Go ahead and do the link if you care. It works. Believe me.
