Mmmmmm, boobs and guns.

This IS America, Toto.

Nicely implied "Look but don't touch" message there.

Posted by McGehee on March 10, 2004 at 1:51 PM

Izzat a Mossberg? 500-series model?

Posted by Samuel Tai on March 10, 2004 at 1:56 PM

It's Mr. Mossberg?! In the flesh?! Oh, and some breasts.

Posted by dowingba on March 10, 2004 at 2:01 PM

My professional opinion is- nice rack.

Is that a Victoria's Secret? Mine didn't come with the nice, shiny accessories. I'm taking it back.

Posted by Dani on March 10, 2004 at 2:09 PM

Samuel: Yes. Rose and I are the only ones allowed to mess with it though.

Posted by Dean Esmay on March 10, 2004 at 2:12 PM

Yep. Victoria's Secret. Love that store...

Posted by Rosemary the Queen of All Evil on March 10, 2004 at 2:13 PM

Lovely. Just absolutely Lovely.

Oh, and the breasts look nice, too.

Posted by Donnie on March 10, 2004 at 2:21 PM

Hey Donnie!! These people didn't think I was hot!

Posted by Rosemary the Queen of All Evil on March 10, 2004 at 2:24 PM

I personally think your choice of finger nail polish ROCKS BIG TIME!

Posted by Ralph Stefan on March 10, 2004 at 2:24 PM

And here I was expecting a picture of dishes draining...

Posted by triticale on March 10, 2004 at 2:25 PM

I did, Rosemary. And I've seen a lot of boobs.

Posted by Dani on March 10, 2004 at 2:33 PM

I still can't stop laughing.

Samual: "Oooh, is that a Mossberg?"

Dani: "Oooh, is that Victoria's Secret?"

Yeah. Tell me there's no male/female difference...

Posted by Dean Esmay on March 10, 2004 at 2:36 PM

Ooooh la la.....

Posted by I.T. on March 10, 2004 at 2:37 PM

Even the Russian judge says:"10"!!

Posted by Phil Winsor on March 10, 2004 at 2:39 PM

I am feeling so damned warm and happy right now, I can't describe it.

Pardon me, but that's worth a hubba hubba.

Posted by zombyboy on March 10, 2004 at 2:47 PM

I wasn't going to ask to see them, but since you offered...let me just say that they're lovely. I am, however, still solidly in favor of sensible gun control.

Posted by Don Myers on March 10, 2004 at 2:53 PM

Happiness is a warm gun
Happiness is a warm gun
When I hold you in my arms
And I feel my finger on your trigger
I know nobody can do me no harm
'Cause happiness is a warm gun
-Yes it is.

Posted by Ara Rubyan on March 10, 2004 at 2:53 PM

Impressive (I thought it belonged in the back of your pickup truck).

Posted by shep on March 10, 2004 at 3:01 PM

Thanks for the serenade Ara. Great albumn that was.

Posted by Ralph Stefan on March 10, 2004 at 3:04 PM

I'm a little disappointed...I was hoping for something in St. Patrick's Day emerald green...

Posted by chris on March 10, 2004 at 3:17 PM

Ahhh...that's better, thanks.

Posted by Mark Adams on March 10, 2004 at 4:51 PM

Thanks, Ralph. I'll be here all week. Try the veal.

Posted by Ara Rubyan on March 10, 2004 at 5:16 PM

Ooooh. Gun metal blue.

Posted by Rodney Dill on March 10, 2004 at 5:27 PM

Rosemary:
Would you be offended if we had a contest to see who could come closest to your bra size?

Posted by Phil Winsor on March 10, 2004 at 5:35 PM

Nope

Posted by Rosemary the Queen of All Evil` on March 10, 2004 at 5:45 PM

Nice gun!

And the rack is quite splendid, I must say.

In fact, the whole picture just says "Tough but tender and TAKEN." :)

Posted by Lachlan on March 10, 2004 at 5:49 PM

34-C

Posted by Phil Winsor on March 10, 2004 at 5:53 PM

38C...I know I'm right, but why am I craving ammunition and milk?....Two words: AWE-SOME!

Posted by Tim the Soldier on March 10, 2004 at 6:08 PM

I'd guess, uh lemme see. Yep 12 guage for sure.

(Warning: objects in Photoshop may be larger than they appear.)

Posted by Mark Adams on March 10, 2004 at 7:11 PM

Hey Girl,
Your boobs look smaller. What's up with that?

Posted by John P on March 10, 2004 at 7:27 PM

Boob-size?

34 gauge...

Posted by Lonestar on March 10, 2004 at 8:09 PM

Guess:
38 D

I got me one of them shotguns, but my rack... er the wife's is.... well crap, lets just not go there, she has been known to google my name....

Posted by Cinomed on March 10, 2004 at 8:10 PM

Those look like B cups from the picture, and I don't know how tall you are or the width of your back, so I'll guess 36.

So 36-B. But you should know that I normally guess one size too small. Still, I'm sticking with my initial guess.

Or were we guessing the rifle?

Posted by IB Bill on March 10, 2004 at 8:43 PM

Not sure if it helps but I'm 5'7'. And, they do look smaller in that shot. I think it's because the bra and shirt are so dark, no contrast...

Posted by Rosemary the Queen of All Evil on March 10, 2004 at 8:50 PM

"...they do look smaller in that shot. I think it's because the bra and shirt are so dark..."

Well, I for one believe in the interests of accuracy and fair play there needs to be a re-shoot...who's with me?

Posted by chris on March 10, 2004 at 9:14 PM

Chris is right. We need a re-shoot. It's for advancement of mathematics.

Posted by IB Bill on March 10, 2004 at 9:27 PM

I'd guess a C-cup, meself. And just a heads-up for you guys out there: Victoria's Secret only tends to carry "normal" sizes (the choice of words due to some horrible experiences "odd"-sized women have had) - or, in other words, 34-38, A-C. You'll find the occasional bra outside of those sizes, but as many friends of mine have said sorrowfully, VS is not a store for everybody.

So that should narrow down the possibilities some. :)

Posted by B. Durbin on March 10, 2004 at 9:32 PM

Gosh, Rosemary! You look great, as does your rifle.
I don't think I have the nerve to publish a similar picture of me. I'm lot's older than you, and you can bet that everything I have probably hangs down an inch or two lower than yours. (-:

Posted by Beth Donovan on March 10, 2004 at 9:37 PM

Thanks Beth! I'll be 36 next month. I told Dean that for my 40th - I want them puppies lifted if gravity is cruel.

Eh, I'm an exhibitionist at heart. I've gone to the bar dressed in less, just a couple months ago in fact. I enjoy being oggled, hooted at and getting catcalls. Ah, it's fun to be a woman.

B.Durbin,
VS does carry D & DD cups. They don't usually go over 38, though. I don't have the biggest rack in my family and we all shop there, including my blessed mother.

All,

I'll consider a re-shoot.

Posted by Rosemary the Queen of All Evil on March 10, 2004 at 9:50 PM

I'll hazard 2-3/4" 00 buckshot (12 shot) loads in the rack. Probably Remington or Winchester shotshells. Since there's no need for steel shot in a home defense application (since you want the bad guy to contract lead poisoning :D), I'll guess standard lead shot.

Posted by Samuel Tai on March 10, 2004 at 10:03 PM

38 D? Who's gun is it? Dean's or yours?

I love Victoria's Secret with one exception. For those of us with breasts, I am tired of all that extra padding and lifting. Just give me a pretty, soft and/or lacy, bra without the extra goop and fluff. Nature and grandma took care of the cleavage. Leave the padding in the A and B cups. Us C and D cups don't need the chicken wire, pads, gels, etc. A bra should be an enticing accessory, not a bondage weapon. Plus, there have been studies about underwire bras and circulation and cancer and they are just downright uncomfortable. If I am uncomfortable, I am not feeling sexy...by the way.

I tried to explain this to one of the clerks, but she thought I was insane. Thanks for letting me rant.

Nice picture Rose, and yes it is lovely to be a woman--wouldn't trade it for the alternative in a million years.

Posted by Katherine on March 11, 2004 at 12:59 AM

I've got to say that it is refreshing to hear that you like being looked at. Many women I know have been reluctant to say so out loud.

You like being looked at, we like looking. Sounds like symbiosis to me.

Oh, and I'll guess a 36 C. A very lovely 36 C.

Posted by anacronyms on March 11, 2004 at 9:53 AM

I'm guessing 12 gauge?

Oh, wait, do I misunderstand the question? ;-)

Posted by Adam the Cat Slayer on March 11, 2004 at 10:46 AM

By the way, I forgot to mention the prize- the winner gets to send the Esmays a nice gift.
Some guidelines:

Non alcoholic
No clothing- gift certificates to VS or Fredricks OK

Should I be the lucky winner- I'll be sending a gallon of pure, authentic VT maple syrup.

BTW, I stand by my C-cup guess, but could adjust the other measurement if/when more data becomes available.

Posted by Phil Winsor on March 11, 2004 at 11:21 AM

Can we send some food for the Mossberg?

Posted by dowingba on March 11, 2004 at 11:27 AM

Rosemary....You're HOT. Dean is blessed. (Jacob, too!)

Posted by Donnie on March 11, 2004 at 11:36 AM

Ammo is a perfectly acceptable gift- although you have to be careful, depending on what state you are sending from, and where it is being sent. For instance, you can't ship 9MM ammo to MA.

Posted by Phil Winsor on March 11, 2004 at 11:43 AM

So, would this qualify as a boob discussion?

38DD

Posted by Erica on March 11, 2004 at 11:49 AM

ditto to what Kaherine said about bras and my guess is the same as hers. Good to know your Mama is blessed in the area of the bosom...you are too.

Posted by Janelle on March 11, 2004 at 12:54 PM

I think it's a 20 gauge, but maybe I'm just contrary.

Posted by Sigivald on March 11, 2004 at 1:21 PM

I'll take 36 D.

Posted by Bravo Romeo Delta on March 11, 2004 at 2:02 PM

Not too bad of a rack. I missed the voting period, but I would have guessed 36C. Maybe you should have bared them so I could have had a more accurate guess. :)
