Hypergraphia

Ara Rubyan not long ago accused me of having a condition known as "hypergraphia." I then spent about an hour researching the condition, and came to the conclusion that this is a foul, libelous statement with no basis in reality.

However, to my dismay, I found that one of my favorite online references, the Wikipedia, had no information on the condition, so I wound up contributing an entry on the subject.

So there. Pbtbtbtbt!

But where would us hyperlexics be without you?

Is this any different from "logorrhea"?

You know, verbal diarrhea. The Webster Squirts.

I suppose I could have dubbed it "Authors Antonymous", or something equally cute. And asinine.

But, enough of torturing Esmay for one morning.

Dean,

But were you compelled to write the Wikipedia entry.

Yours,

Dean, Hypergraphia is a real medical condition, usually treated by neurologists and/or psychiatrists. I am not a MD so I wont say any more, but, when you visit, I will give you a book written by a neurologist that describes in detail this medical condition.
