Cox & Forkum are, after one full year of producing 4-5 comics a week for absolutely no pay and almost no time off, are taking a break. One which they deserve.
Having proved that they can maintain both a professional-level pace and a level of quality meeting or exceeding anything found in newspaper syndication today, all in their spare time, they are now attempting to find a syndicate interested in distributing their work.
I strongly suggest that if you have any ideas or know anyone in the cartoon syndication business, you check out their work, which is quite impressive. I also suggest you check out the read Dean's World Interview With Cox & Forkum, which I think is an excellent look at their work and cartooning philosophy--if I do say so myself.
These guys are good. Really, really good.
Thanks very much, Dean. Your encouragement is greatly appreciated.

The fact that they haven't been syndicated yet is proof of liberal bias in the newspaper business.
Or not.
I have tried getting comic strips syndicated, and I almost made it a couple of times. I know a tiny bit about the business.
The accepted wisdom RE editorial cartooning is that there are several hundred applicants for every position, so things have reached a point where blind shithouse luck means a lot more than talent.
Food for thought, if you're trying to make it in that game. Especially if you're conservative, which probably divides your chances by about ten to begin with.
Hope you're doing better, Dean.
