I hit the tipjar. We've just turned the corner on a tough financial situation, so I know even the little I can share helps.
As for the pup & the alcohol --
I had to put down two beloved dogs when I was in high school; thye just got to be in too much pain. It's not easy, but sometimes it's for the better.
And my dad was a drunk until he fell down the stairs at Logan Airport in Boston and broke his jaw in 1975. He never drank again, at least not until he was dying from lung cancer. You can beat that, too.
Here's hoping another angel get's it's wings.
I'm about 8 years older than you.
Been there for all three problems (that you have shared).
You've already started beating them by sharing.
My father (who is a minister) always said that you get back a lot more than you give.
Although I'm not very religious, I found out (after trying wrong ways) that for some mysterious reason it is true.
You have been giving of yourself. I hope everyone who has been taking what you have been giving (online) returns the favour.
And in a few years you will be giving back.
It does work!
Don't feel bad about accepting help. You helped me/us FIRST. On one hand, a little tip that you can use. On the other hand a little prayer that, well, it can't hurt..........
Dean, you know we all care about you. If you didn't you should have. You've become part of the family, you and Rosemary.
I hope to actually meet you soon, with the Chief!
Sorry to sound stupid but where's the tip jar?
Forget George Bailey. Think Jacques Brel. As in:
"Dean Esmay is alive and well, and living in Westfield MI."
It'll all work out for you. Just don't forget the ginger ale, next time you want a drink.

Thank you Arnold.
Hang in there, guys.
Dean, you're welcome.
More people out here than you can imagine care about you. That means here in the northeasternmost corner of Iowa. That means all over.

You can do this, Dean. Got faith in you and in Rosemary.
Damn and blast it, Paypal is down. When they're back up and running (they say 3:30 PDT) I will be back.
Much love,

Try "Merry Christmas, Moviehouse."
Hang in there, guys. It's darkest before the morn.
How's Jake doing?
Jack
Right now I'm broke, but next Friday is payday and I'll contribute some then. Promise.
Hang in there!
Jake will be alright. He was a little frightened but he's better.
