New to the Blogroll
Have you met these fine folks?
Mr. E Poet, winner of the Cleverest Blog Name I've Seen All Day Award.
Oh, and here's another one with a simply terrific name: Duck Season. If someone doesn't start up a counter-blog called Wabbit Season, though, I may just have to start one myself. ;-)
Anyway, they're now all on my blogroll, for your amusement and convenience. (If I missed somebody, apologies in advance.)
An update for folks:
I'm moving to a new site host in a week or so. Already paid for the space. I'm also switching to Movable Type for my blogging. I expect to keep the old blog URL, so you won't have to update anything.
Best yet, I'll be able to archive my posts.
So come visit, comment, and send me leads on interesting stuff.
And read Dean's blog on occasion, he may actually post something interesting.:)
Courteous spam. What a novelty (Persian rug site).
Grrr. Die spammers, die!
(It's gone now, and into the blacklist.)
Thanks, Dean. I'm sorry I missed the courteous spam, just out of pure curiosity. Can you cut out the vital bits (where to reply), stuff it and mount the trophy proudly in your display case for all to see? Or were you so pissed you already sent it to the bit grinder?
Yours,
Wince
The message was a generic, "That was interesting." one. From the front page of the site the products looked like generic persian rugs. If he didn't spam I wouldn't be so down on him. He does have a good site design, and shows his merchandise well. But...
Dean: I'm glad you put Wince and Nod on your blogroll. He was my finest, most splendid opponent in any of these debates. A good man.
Thanks for the shout-out, my blogfather ... (nobody ever said it was a sure thing that you would be proud of your offspring)
I don't have a blog but if I ever get one, I want a blogroll that flushes.
Is apologizing in Advance like hanging in Effigy and trying in Absentia? That would mean I have a third town name for my model railroad.
Alan,
Courteous but boring. Thanks for assuaging my curiousity.
Stephan Malcom Anderson, who claims he is selfish, but is plenty generous with compliments,
Thanks. Maybe we can do another discussion soon, when I get the energy. Since I switched from liberal/libertarian to conservative/libertarian discussing politics with my old non-virtual friends and family is even harder, since they're still Democrats. One reason I do these discussions and consistently try to get people to talk nice online is for practice at home. Learning to keep my temper is a must. I recently reengaged an old friend with a hot-temper and a pacifistic family tradition. We're still getting along, but it's going to be interesting.
Yours,
Wince
