Thanks to Geoff (whose weblog is still vile and disgusting and should never be read by anyone), I finally sat my butt down and installed MT-Blacklist.

I have no idea why I didn't install this puppy sooner. Oh yeah I do: I've been stressed to the max and couldn't make my brain add anything else to the "to do" list without my skull cracking open.

But I did it, and man it's slick. It took about five minutes to install, and ran through and found literally hundreds of pieces of spam that have been left all over Dean's World in the last several months.

No more banned IP addresses. Life is good. If you're running Movable Type, and aren't running Jay Allen's amazing MT-Blacklist, you should be.
