Happy New Year

There will be only light bloggage today. We're in Grand Rapids for a wedding.

2003 was quite a long year for me. Between school, work, family, volunteer work, and this addiction of mine called Dean's World, I think sometimes I'm going to have a meltdown. Come to think of it, I've had a couple of them this year, haven't I?

You guys who visit here are the best though. You make this a worthwhile endeavor for me, you really do.

Happy New Year!

Tell Steve and Alice I said "Mazel Tov."

And Dean, you have a great year, old friend.

2004 was quite a long year for you? Gad, Dean, that's awfully fatalistic, isn't it?

Anyway, here's hoping that you have a better year in 2004 than you did in 2003. Not that you had a bad year, of course -- although everyone else I know generally had one -- but there's something very true about the old saying that happiness is in the direction, not the amount.

Oh how I love you, Rosemary and Jacob and I am so very blessed in having you in my life.

Your words this year have touched so many my dear and precious son. Your wife by your side brings tears to my eyes and fills my heart knowing she is the one that is there to hold you now honey. So when you get so tired and you want to give up don't give in, remember her warm and loving sweet tender touch.
I was there when you said, I DO and I will always be there for you. That is what a mother came here to do. She came to give you life...hold you, read to you... do only what she could do until your Wife came through to see you through...
Rosemary is a Blessed name and I share the second part of that name, I treasure her and so does Jacob remember this when words fly between you because we all have days when we want to give up but you Dean have shown us in print and Rosemary too, so hang on together as this new year comes through because we all are with you...
I will always be with you, I know your belief right now. But mine are and always have been in CHRIST. SO I DO KNOW IN HIM I WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU. HOW I DO LOVE PSALM 139 it is my SOUL

Benjamin, think of the typo not as a prediction...

So, Dean, did Taiwan declare independence? When did the first units of the new Iraqi army go into action? Did Qadafi take up the offer of exile in Branson Missouri? Did Howard Dean carry any states? What was the first network primetime show to be canceled? Have they found Kim Jung Il yet?

More questions as they occur to me.

I'm sharing New Years Eve with my toddler whose watching VeggieTales, and gets to stay up until midnight or he falls asleep.

An old friend dropped by today so that was good. And a date with the wife is always nice.

And tommorrow, the ladywife will have off from work. So its a weird but happy two days of new years for me and best wishes to the residents of Dean's World.
