I second that. But on behalf of a free United States, stay with it until the job is done. No more Koreas. No more Viet Nams. There is no substitute for victory.
Dean, that picture is very touching. Gotta love our boys and girls over there! No children with guns. No children with bandanas with slogans on them, no violence. Just a little girl who grabbed for the hand of someone she trusted implicitly. That's the difference between the good guys and the bad guys.
Thank you for the job you are doing in behalf of Our Country. There is not one day that goes by that you are not in my prayers. I can not imagine what you are feeling today being so far away. I too am alone and that is the only feeling that is similar.
I do want you to know because of you I can pick up my telephone and call any one of my children or grandchildren. Because of you I can hail a taxi and go see the newest box office movie release. Because of what you are doing for me, I can walk over to a 7-11 and grab a loaf of bread and see people waiting in line getting last minute things they forgot to pick up for their Christmas Dinners.
Yes, I really mean what I say from my heart, I do not know what you are going through and love you for what you are doing for us. I stood in line at that 7-11 convenience store and when I got up there to pay for my bread I had a travelers check. Yep, Good ole American Express.
I thought to myself, I just take so much for granted as I was signing that check.
I must tell you Dean had this picture posted pretty early and I got a lump in my throat and it wasn't until I got to that store that my tears started flowing as I thought about you. I was also able to board an airplane from Chicago to San Antonio, Texas...ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!
