It cracked me up that they paid the student helpers with pizza. Hell, I bet those folks would have done it for free, just so's they could say "I helped build a supercomputer with Macs!"
If Moore's Law still holds for a few more generations, I figure by the time Picard does take the helm of the Enterprise-D, this thing will be the equivalent of a used Celeron...

It's on my Xmas list, too. I figure it will run Photoshop fast enough that I'll be able to stop using a mouse and just think the commands...
