The Wiggles Story

A reader named Richard, who's sending several boxes to our warehouse in Maryland, emailed me this observation:

For a while in business circles there's been this idea of virtual corporations, things that spring into existence for one project, then vaporize.

Here, in the Operation Give project, one guy with a good idea said it on the internet: "send toys to Iraq." With no personnel, money, organization or assets of any kind. Within three weeks he has over 700 boxes of toys shipped halfway around the world and more on the way, a not-for-profit corporation, warehouses in two countries, personnel, bank accounts, a website, and corporate sponsors.

Is that cool or what?
