Photo Essay

Sgt. Hook has a lovely photo essay you should see.

Just click each link in the song he quotes. Note: for some reason, it worked better for me if I clicked a link, looked at the picture, then closed the picture before looking at the next one. Otherwise some of the photos got cut off.

(way off topic)

Hey Dean!

As of yesterday, I will now start to consider as potentially valid your claims that we are in a full economic turnaround.

In other words, I've finally after 19 and a half months managed to land a damn job.

Great posting as of late. I especially like the post that immediately preceeded this one. Keep up the fine work.

Toodles!

I feel your pain, Chad. I went 7 months without work during 2001, and finally had to humiliate myself by taking a job paying well under half--almost a third--of what I was making before. Until I got that job, I was delivering pizzas and doing anything else I had to do to survive.

I always reminded myself not to feel too sorry for myself though--there are people in this world starving to death, after all, and I've always had faith that the country would come out of its economic doldrums eventually.

I'm seeing more and more IT tech jobs opening up, and getting calls and emails from recruiters. I have no doubt things are finally looking up.

I blame the Bush tax cuts!

Heh. Anyway, glad you found something good, Chad!
