Mostly curiosity. But, I have long had a suspicion that I have a disproportionate number of female readers.
At the moment (about 10:30 am) men are outnumbering women 2:1 among regular/semi-regular readers. Then again, a few hours ago, women were significantly outnumbering men. The busiest part of the day is afternoon, so we'll see what we see.
However, I note that female politically-oriented bloggers are outnumbered by to a considerable degree--way more than 2:1 in fact. If political blog-readers follow that average...
Well let's just say I'm curious and leave it at that. Tomorrow morning's numbers should be interesting to see.
I like having women readers. I'm generally a philogynist. I'm hoping to see at least a 66/33 male/female ratio, which would bear out my gut suspicion that an unusually high number of women read this blog.

Anyone who reads this place knows I post about 80% of it, and, after all, it is Dean's World. ;-) But not only does my wife get to post whatever she wants, whenever she wants, but 3 out of 4 guest bloggers so far have been female.
I keep trying to get Rose to let me set up her own blog for her, but she doesn't want one. For now anyway.
A couple of years ago, I would have claimed to be a relatively decent guy with wives. The LSO has moved out, and I'm down to one from one and a fraction.
I figured that was what it stood for -- fifteen years ago I was using "LSB" to stand for "least significant bit" -- but couldn't resist the London Symphony Orchestra gag. ;)
As always with these things, you must take demographic trends into consideration.
If you look at any general listing of blogs, you'll find that male bloggers outnumber female bloggers to a considerable degree. Also, general surveys show that women are generally less interested in following politics than men are.
I didn't make that up, it's just the way things are.

I'm willing to bet that most bloggers who talk about political issues will get similar results to my survey. Indeed, I'd like to see someone take me up on that challenge by posting the exact same survey (worded exactly the same way) on his or her own blog.

This past week I noticed my girfriend of a year and two months on the 8th was acting weird or just not like herself.
