On the other hand, Bush is the third decendant of a former President to be elected in our nations history. Each of the prior Presidents (John Quincy Adams, son of John Adams, and Benjamin Harrison, grandson of WH Harrison) lost the popular vote when they ran. AND each of the prior Presidents lost their re-election bid to the same person who they had defeated in the electoral college the previous election.
