Dean's World Defending the liberal tradition in history, science, and philosophy. |
Excellent link - and the bit out Soros is long overdue; he's the archetype of the rich liberal who doesn't want anyone else to get as rich as he is.
In the end, I think it will be a wash - a bit of a GOP advantage in overall money raised being counter-balanced by non-money contributions from Democratic special interest groups (especially organized labor). What the Democrats are missing is that its not just money, its what you say with the money you have; putting a bigger megaphone into Dean's hands will just mean that more people will be decivisely opposed to him come November.
Please don't shatter my illusions. I am completely convinced that if only I had sufficent capital, I could make most voters agree with me. It only stands to reason, doesn't it?
;-)
Whoah, whoah, whoah.
When did the Democrats become the party of the rich? It has always been my experience that the wealthy and powerful flock to the GOP. Lower taxes and all.
