I hate the double standards too. I go to a multicultural public school where we have people from all over the world attending. It sounds wierd, but we Aussies/skipps are made out to be foriegners in our own country (not saying the other groups are not from this country of ours.)

My Italian, Greek and Lebanese friends seem to think that this is their country and we are just the wildlife :) lol

But the weird thing about racisim is that it is tolerated between friends, as it is seen as humor, where as else where, it is seen as a discriminatory act (where in most casses it is.) It makes it so hard to act around some people, especially when they are new. If you ignore them, they think its because of their race, or if you are being nice to them, they think it's because you pitty them - for what reasons is beyond me... mind you this is a limited few.

I dont think this is going to be an issue that will be resolved over the next few decades, its gonna be one of those long running marathony thingys...

I think racism is unfair as it puts people who its about down .i mean it doesnt matter if they are black white or any colour.i dont think there should bean issue about it.you can only judge them as a person not there colour.
