I like to think that war can solve a lot problems if conducted properly, jsut as diplomacy can if conducted properly.
Unfortunately, this "war" in Israel has hit a stalemate, i just can't see a solution in sight.
Maybe Arafat should go, but the after effects could be devistating. There is a lot to consider with such a delicate issue.

More devastating than things are now? And why? I can't imagine how sidelining Arafat could have anything but positive effects.
Killing him would provoke intense reactions - probably lots of riots and mayhem - but the gradual prying of his greasy fingers one by one off the reins of power can only be a good thing.
I cannot imagine any positive reason for the Euros to insist on propping him up. It's like continuing to supply an addict with his fix.
