Noted Iraqi nuclear expert Dr. David Kay has been appointed as Special Advisor for Strategy regarding Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Programs. His testimony before the House Armed Services Committee in September of 2001, which was obviously influential on the declaration of war against Iraq made less than a month later, can be read here.

I assume that this man will be the target of some derision and conspiracy-mongering in the coming weeks.
