Hey, he's no longer President, he makes a fool of himself regularly in speeches, and Hillary's "Queen of Denial" schtick has made her the object of admirable derision even among the lefties.

What's not to like?

You know, if Al Gore won the popular vote in the last election, what do you think Clinton would have done had he been able to run? Fact is, he still runs circles around the best and the brightest of the GOP....funny huh? The most talked about subject on facist (right-wing radio) is the Clintons. I never understood why people in this country despise Clinton so much, but then again, I don't fully understand racism, sexism, and the KKK. (Yes, I realize that not all right wingers are racist or sexist or members of the KKK.) Seems to me that the right-wing spews out so much hatred towards democrats because they represent a threat to traditional misguided (whites only) values.

When the truth wakes you up and slaps you in the race you can either embrace it or attempt to smash it down by any means necessary.

Bill Clinton,

A man like you and I, only a lot smarter. Sure, the moral dilemmas he faced are a lot like the ones you and I face. But he shared the same compassion most of us have. We don't like to see innocent people or animals suffer. He had a gift for placating the war-mongering right-wing fanatics, ie Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield, etc.

For Bill, there was not that much difference between an Iraqui life and an American life.

That's what it boils down to doesn't it?

You know as well as I that the sentiment espoused by the administration, "to bad they can't both lose' (when Sadaam was using the weapons of mass destruction that we supplied him against the Iranians), is currently in place.

Do you think that Clinton would have authorized the use of napalm in Iraq? Well, Bush did. Do you know that napalm is a gel that ignites on your skin and cannot be put out until it burns all the way through? The same was used in Vietnam, perhaps you remember the little girl running down the road with naplam burning a hole through her.

I'm a born-again Christian. I believe that all human life is pretty much equal. I don't see much compassion in the current administration. When I read about the American soldiers who refused help for a dying girl in Iraq who detonated an unexploded cluster bomb (because we didn't consider it to be our fault), I see an attitude of cavalier disregard for life apart from our own.

Why am I so fervantly in favor of Howard Dean? Because I want to believe that our country is lead with intelligence, reason, and most of all compassion. I see that in Howard.

God help this nation if George Bush is elected for another 4 years.
