Award For Fastest Blogspot->Movable Type Conversion
Jeez. Talk about ducks to water. The amazing Southern California Law Blog was up and running, four months of content ported over, templates tidied up and converted, categories and everything running, maybe six hours after I sent Jeffery a note and said, "Here ya go, welcome to MT!"
I think if anyone needs help converting Blogspot stuff to MT, we know who to ask. Speaking of which, Andrew Cory is completely frustrated in his efforts to get his Blogspot content converted over. Can someone head over there to help him out?

Guess I got lucky. I was able to move everything over on the first try. Now, reformatting it and putting the images back in, on the other hand...
I made the mistake of asking socallawyer, of all people, how easy it was. It was, um, difficult but I got some help and now, with more people moving and hitting the same stumbling blocks, it should be easier. The improvements make it worth it but I agree with the comment above that you may not want to start this way. You have to like blogging and your blog enough to be willing to fiddle with the backend stuff.
And Cory looks fine to me exceot for that snipe at Southern California.
