Dean, this was absolutely hilarious. I had been aware for some time of these Nigerian Email scams, due to information put out by the FBI to local police departments. Then I recently had firsthand experience in dealing with them. Some of the faculty at the university where I am a police investigator, had received emails from one of these type of scam operations. The computing department was quite concerned and brought it to us to see if anything could be prosecuted regarding the Emails. However, since none of the profs took the bait, there was no real crime. I will have to show the computing people and the Email recipients this "conference announcement". I'm sure they will find it as entertaining as I did.
